CENTCOM Swaps F-35A jets
Over the last few days, a swap of 2 F-35A "Lightning II" fast-jets has taken place in CENTCOM via RAF Mildenhall. On 31st July, 2 jets flew out to the region, and a short while ago 2 others arrived back from CENTCOM. These are:
F-35A "TABOR71" 19-5474 LN (deployed 31/07)
F-35A "TABOR72" 22-5682 LN (deployed 31/07)
F-35A "TABOR81" 15-5200 HL (returned 03/08)
F-35A "TABOR82" 17-5237 HL (returned 03/08)
These jets were supported on their journeys by the following tankers from LFMI and LRCK:
KC-135R "CLEAN21" 59-1521 #AE0598 (Leg 1 outbound 31/07)
KC-135T "CLEAN22" 60-0337 #AE0482 (Leg 2 outbound 31/07)
KC-135R "BLUE31" 57-1454 #AE0380 (Leg 1 return 03/08)
KC-135R "BLUE32" ?? (Leg 2 return 03/08)
