Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, announced that on the morning of Sunday, May 17, 2026, 3 drones were intercepted and destroyed after entering the KSA's airspace from Iraqi territory.

Al-Malki affirmed that the "Ministry of Defense reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place, and will take and implement all necessary operational measures to counter any attempted aggression against the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents."

سرلشکر ترکی المالکی، سخنگوی وزارت دفاع، اعلام کرد که در صبح روز یکشنبه ۱۷ مه ۲۰۲۶، ۳ فروند پهپاد پس از ورود به حریم هوایی پادشاهی عربستان سعودی (KSA) از خاک عراق، رهگیری و منهدم شدند.

UPDATE: Fairford Bomber Training Flights #FreeIran‌
--- Operation EPIC FURY / Project FREEDOM ---

As of a short while ago, @MATA_osint team members have tracked/identified a total of 50 training sorties by US Air Force B-1B "Lancer" and B-52H "Stratofortress" bombers from RAF Fairford (EGVA) since the ceasefire began.

These comprise:
- 19 missions by B-52s (30 launches by 8 aircraft)
- 31 missions by B-1s (54 launches by 13 aircraft)
- 2 of the B-1s have not flown a single training sortie (yet)

تا لحظاتی پیش، اعضای تیم @MATA_osint در مجموع ۵۰ سورتی پرواز آموزشی توسط بمب‌افکن‌های نیروی هوایی ایالات متحده (USAF) از نوع B-1B "Lancer" و B-52H "Stratofortress" را از پایگاه هوایی سلطنتی فایرفورد (EGVA) از زمان آغاز آتش‌بس ردیابی و شناسایی کرده‌اند.

این موارد شامل:
- ۱۹ ماموریت توسط B-52ها (۳۰ پرواز توسط ۸ فروند هواپیما)
- ۳۱ ماموریت توسط B-1ها (۵۴ پرواز توسط ۱۳ فروند هواپیما)
- ۲ فروند از B-1ها (هنوز) حتی یک سورتی پرواز آموزشی انجام نداده‌اند.
