Authorities in Abu Dhabi responded to a fire incident that broke out in an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the Al Dhafra Region, caused by a drone strike. No injuries were reported, and there was no impact on radiological safety levels.

All precautionary measures have been taken, and further updates will be provided as they become available.

The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) confirmed that the fire did not affect the safety of the power plant or the readiness of its essential systems, and that all units are operating as normal.

The public is reminded to obtain information from official sources only, and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information.

مقامات در ابوظبی به حادثه آتش‌سوزی در یک ژنراتور برق در خارج از محیط داخلی نیروگاه هسته‌ای برکه در منطقه الظفره که در پی یک حمله پهپادی رخ داد، رسیدگی کردند. هیچ گزارشی مبنی بر مصدومیت منتشر نشده است و این حادثه هیچ تأثیری بر سطح ایمنی رادیولوژیک نداشته است.

تمامی اقدامات پیشگیرانه اتخاذ شده است و به‌روزرسانی‌های تکمیلی به محض دردسترس بودن ارائه خواهد شد.

سازمان فدرال نظارت هسته‌ای (FANR) تأیید کرد که این آتش‌سوزی تأثیری بر ایمنی نیروگاه یا آمادگی سیستم‌های حیاتی آن نداشته و تمامی واحدها به صورت عادی در حال فعالیت هستند.

به عموم مردم یادآوری می‌شود که اطلاعات را تنها از منابع رسمی دریافت کرده و از انتشار شایعات یا اطلاعات تأیید نشده خودداری کنند.

تعاملت الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية مع 3 طائرات مسيّرة.

أعلنت وزارة الدفاع أنه في 17 مايو 2026 تعاملت الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية مع 3 طائرات مسيّرة دخلت الدولة من جهة الحدود الغربية، حيث تم التعامل بنجاح مع اثنتين فيما أصابت الثالثة مولد كهربائي خارج المحيط الداخلي لمحطة براكة للطاقة النووية في منطقة الظفرة.

وأضافت الوزارة بأن التحقيقات جارية لمعرفة مصدر الاعتداءات، وسيتم الكشف عن المستجدات بعد انتهاء التحقيقات.

وتؤكد وزارة الدفاع أنها على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أي تهديدات، والتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن الدولة، بما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية.

UAE Air Defenses intercepted 3 drones.

The Ministry of Defense announced that on May 17, 2026, UAE air defenses intercepted 3 drones that entered the country from the western border. Two were successfully engaged, while the third struck an electrical generator outside the internal perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in the Al Dhafra region.

The Ministry added that investigations are underway to determine the source of the attacks, and updates will be disclosed upon the conclusion of the investigations.

The Ministry of Defense affirms that it is at the highest level of readiness and preparedness to deal with any threats and to resolutely confront anything aimed at destabilizing the security of the state, ensuring the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and protecting its national interests and assets.

Major General Turki Al-Malki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, announced that on the morning of Sunday, May 17, 2026, 3 drones were intercepted and destroyed after entering the KSA's airspace from Iraqi territory.

Al-Malki affirmed that the "Ministry of Defense reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place, and will take and implement all necessary operational measures to counter any attempted aggression against the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens and residents."

UPDATE: Fairford Bomber Training Flights #FreeIran‌
--- Operation EPIC FURY / Project FREEDOM ---

As of a short while ago, @MATA_osint team members have tracked/identified a total of 50 training sorties by US Air Force B-1B "Lancer" and B-52H "Stratofortress" bombers from RAF Fairford (EGVA) since the ceasefire began.

These comprise:
- 19 missions by B-52s (30 launches by 8 aircraft)
- 31 missions by B-1s (54 launches by 13 aircraft)
- 2 of the B-1s have not flown a single training sortie (yet)

تا لحظاتی پیش، اعضای تیم @MATA_osint در مجموع ۵۰ سورتی پرواز آموزشی توسط بمب‌افکن‌های نیروی هوایی ایالات متحده (USAF) از نوع B-1B "Lancer" و B-52H "Stratofortress" را از پایگاه هوایی سلطنتی فایرفورد (EGVA) از زمان آغاز آتش‌بس ردیابی و شناسایی کرده‌اند.

این موارد شامل:
- ۱۹ ماموریت توسط B-52ها (۳۰ پرواز توسط ۸ فروند هواپیما)
- ۳۱ ماموریت توسط B-1ها (۵۴ پرواز توسط ۱۳ فروند هواپیما)
- ۲ فروند از B-1ها (هنوز) حتی یک سورتی پرواز آموزشی انجام نداده‌اند.
