The sun was out, the breeze was perfect, and Mills’s Jeno was entirely lost in his own world the second he spotted an ice cream truck. Leaning over the railing with a double-scoop cone already melting in his hand, he completely forgot he was supposed to be walking with Lorth’s Minju.

“Hey, Kakak! The Ice cream boy!” she called out from down below, shielding her eyes as she looked up at him.

“You literally ran off the second you smelled sugar. Wait up!” He looked down, offering a totally innocent, cream-smudged grin. “Can you blame me? The vanilla-chocolate swirl was calling my name. Want a bite?” She laughed, jogging up the steps to meet him.

She pulled a small, neatly wrapped bag from her pocket and held up a couple of freshly baked cookies, complete with adorable, slightly clumsy icing smiley faces. His eyes went wide, his ice cream suddenly forgotten. “Wait, did you actually bake these? Are they supposed to look like me?” She just laughed, teasing him that they were just as chaotic as he was, before handing them over to let him enjoy the ultimate snack combo. ☀️🍦👀🍪
