Like most young people brimming with untamed curiosity, this two youth drawn to the truth of 'ngepet' prepared to prove it with their own hands. 🕯So last night: candles, cinnamon sticks, an assortment of graveyard flowers. Even murmured incantations were meticulously laid out. A faint tremor of fear slipped into their chests, though curiosity reigned higher. Halton’s Hanbin and Rocheveil’s Zhanghao began by kindling a small bonfire, its embered breath awakening the candles one by one. They kept vigil around the flickering light, placing a cat as a stand-in for the fabled ‘ngepet’ pig.

Two hours bled away. The night grew colder, until they realized the ritual had dissolved into nothing more than a gentle farce. Halton's Hanbin start broke into laughter and joked, “Udah ini mah pura puranya kita berhasil aja, taruh duit aku di situ biar keliatan ada hasil.” Rocheveil's Zhanghao followed with a warm laugh replying, “Hahahhahaha iya, sebenarnya udah feeling juga. Mana ada beginian berhasil. But at least we spent our time together, here in the warmly.”

In the end, they laughed together. Unburdened.
