How many Tests should we take before Prelims?

UPSC has divided prelims GS Syllabus into 7 sections.
6 core subjects and 1 current affairs.

CSAT into Comprehension passages and Quant and Reasoning.

So 2 Sectional tests for each core subject i.e 6 * 2 = 12
Current affairs- 4
Csat - 2 Sectional Comprehension tests and 2 test for quant and reasoning = 4
And full length- 3
Total Tests become- 23

So it can vary somewhere between 22-26.
This is for people who start either in December or January.
Attempting tests once in a week.

Most important thing which people forget about Test series is that they don’t revise the tests solutions.

This shall be the aim of any teacher.

You can see the Honourable Supreme court has dismissed Cases related to Telangana Group 1.
Few politically motivated people instigated young aspirants and diverted them during the Telangana group 1 mains. They spread misinformation and even collected money from students .

Some of these culprits didn’t even appear for Group1 prelims but they misguided young aspirants. Those kind of people should not be entertained. Students should teach them a lesson next time.

Some politically aligned telegram channels, Coaching faculties etc also instigated students.

Remember I always try my best to guide you in the right direction.

One last thing unless and until there is clear evidence about malpractices or issues with notification don’t divert from your studies.

Avoid Telegram channels which tries to increase their followers by sensationalist news, irrelevant content, etc.

Young Aspirants please be careful with Telegram channels.

Try to take a break today and prepare yourself for the next week .
