One small advice.
If you’re going through your hardest phase feeling depressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed, step out and spend time in nature. Go trekking, visit a beach, walk through a forest, or travel to any place that brings you peace. Nature has a way of changing your perspective and reminding you that life still has beauty and hope.
And even if you don’t have the money right now, borrow a little and go. Because once your mind becomes positive and clear, earning money and rebuilding your life becomes much easier.
Trust me.

I strongly recommend students who couldn’t clear mains this year in the Mains enrichment Mentorship group.
The very reason is that if you are in that core group you can meet similar kind of students, know their strategies, share each other answers in the group, find out your gaps.
Being in the group will help you overcome isolation and stress.
I will do my best to identify your gaps and overcome them with regular answer writing.

If you want to begin UPSC preparation, follow this approach:
1. Spend the first 10–15 days analysing the demand of the UPSC exam by going through:
• Last 5 years’ Prelims PYQs
• Last 5 years’ Mains PYQs
• The complete Mains syllabus
2. After analysis, note down the important themes/topics from which questions have repeatedly been asked in both Prelims and Mains.
3. Start with the new NCERTs but read only the identified themes/topics that appeared in PYQs. Do not read the books end-to-end.
4. After finishing NCERTs, directly begin Mains syllabus-wise reading.
• Do not go too deep.
• Aim to complete the entire syllabus once within 4–5 months.
5. While completing the Mains syllabus, write 1–2 PYQ answers daily to develop answer-writing skills from the beginning.
6. After the first reading of Mains is done, begin the second reading and start making notes.
• Notes should include only facts, examples, keywords, data, definitions, best practices, case studies, and government initiatives.
• Avoid generic or lengthy explanations.
7. Do current affairs and value-addition selectively during the second reading — only add content that enhances your notes.
8. After completing the second reading, join a test series.
• Write at least one full-length test for each paper (GS1, GS2, GS3, GS4 + Essay + Optional).
9. After finishing the Mains test series, shift to Prelims preparation again.
• Revise the last 7–8 years of Prelims PYQs and list the recurring themes/topics.
• Prepare Prelims strictly based on those themes.
* Don’t forget to Read Newspaper paper everyday however it should be aligned with Mains syllabus and Pyqs.

Those who are giving civil services must go through this EPFO question paper as it was conducted by UPSC itself. This will give very good idea about the kind of topics asked by upsc.
No need to focus on certain questions related to labour codes or accounts etc which are specific to this exam.
Focus on General studies subjects like history, polity, economy, science, geography.
