The Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS), conducted by India's National Statistical Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), is a primary survey that provides data on employment and unemployment indicators, including the Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Worker Population Ratio (WPR), and Unemployment Rate (UR). From January 2025, the survey was revamped to provide more frequent, high-frequency, monthly, and quarterly estimates for the entire country, covering both rural and urban areas, to better reflect the dynamics of the labor market

Bonds are important for UPSC Prelims because questions on them appear regularly (2016–2025). They test both basic concepts (T-Bills, G-Secs, Zero-Coupon, bondholders vs stockholders) and current affairs (Masala Bonds, RBI Retail Direct, US debt default).

Once again I remind the students, September, October, November, December and for some students January are the best months for finishing UPSC Mains preparation.

These five months are more than enough to improve your answer writing and score decent marks in Mains examination.
Without mains preparation there is no point clearing Prelims.

Keep your emotions aside and work every single day and spend min 7-8 hours on Mains syllabus. You can allocate 3-4 for GS and 2-3 for Optional. Spend atleast 30 min to 1 hour on Newspaper. Write answers to Previous year questions and get very good command over syllabus and PYQS. Don’t read unnecessary content or too many books without knowing whether that content is useful to exam or not.

Whatever happened in the past leave it. At least from today you can change your attitude and work hard in the right direction.

✅Commodity derivatives are financial contracts whose value is based on an underlying commodity like gold, crude oil, wheat, or cotton. They are mainly traded as futures and options to hedge risk or speculate on price movements. In India, they are regulated by SEBI and traded on exchanges like MCX and NCDEX.

Telangana Group 1 issues.

Many students, both those who have cleared the mains and those who couldn’t, have been suffering because of the recent controversies over the mains evaluation.

Here I just want to say one thing.

UPSC a constitutional body, which has enough budget, Human Resources and experience in conducting exams takes 1:12 or 1:13 students that means it takes 12 students for each vacancy to sit for the Mains exam. So for 1000 vacancies almost 12000 to 13000 students appear for mains.

But TGPSC which is conducting the exam for the first time and also with the limited Human Resources and budget had taken students in the ratio of 1:50 for the mains i.e 50 students for each vacancy to sit for the mains exam. For 563 vacancies almost 31000students were admitted and 21000 students finally appeared.

At least from the next notification TGPSC follow UPSC standards keeping in mind their resources and manpower to provide justice to those who deserve to be Officers at the highest level.

My thoughts and experiences

Not all successful people are virtuous. Not all who speak sweet or kindly are good people. There are many successful people with bad intentions and fake characters. Even if they come from humble backgrounds they forget their roots and become very immoral.
Many people following them blindly and becoming die hard fans.

Lord Buddha once said Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

So its better everyone should use their own logic and reasoning before coming to conclusions.
