Marripati Naga Bharath IPS 2024 (probationer) - From an enthusiast yet reluctant aspirant to an adaptable optimist.
I'm Marripati Naga Bharath, electronics and communication engineer by education and training with hardly any interest in that domain.
When I step out of IIT kharagpur after 5 years of dual degree btech and mtech, all I felt was respite and enthusiasm to pursue my favourite humanities subjects.
The first year of preparation was all about attention classes without fail and worrying about terrible test series marks. The failure in first attempt was neither a shock nor a surprise.
The second attempt gave a sweet breakthrough in prelims and made me overconfident as I could score around 700 without much guidance or mentorship.
The next three years filled with failures and fears. Gathering all valuable suggestions from valuable friends and changing the attitude and style of
preparation made me overcome the prelims barrier.
In my last two attempts in 22&23, I went to interview and in 2023 exam, I secured 580 rank after 7 years of hardwork and leisure.
Thanks to professional mentors and wise friends, I could write content better and manage time effectively.
Bit of luck and foolish perseverance which I call GRIT, pushed me thus far.
I would love to interact with you for a discussion you may find useful in your arduous/lovely/lonely journey.
A brief introduction and UPSC JOURNEY by NAGA BHARAT IPS sir.
