One Newspaper but different Readings.

A politician reads a newspaper from a political perspective.
A university professor reads it from an academic perspective.
A businessman reads it from an economic perspective.
A common man reads it differently.

The same is the case with UPSC aspirants.

If you are preparing for UPSC, you are not supposed to read a newspaper like everyone else. For us, what matters is what is important and relevant from the Prelims, Mains and Interview perspectives what helps in answer writing, what helps in covering the syllabus, and what adds value to our preparation.

That should be the objective of reading a newspaper.

Understand the PYQs and the UPSC syllabus before you start reading any article in the newspaper.

Read the newspaper with a purpose, not just for information.

As you are aware sometimes I post questions and ask students to write Answers to upload the best copy on my channel. One of such questions i posted on July 18th and a similar question you could see in the 2026 GS 3 Mains paper.

If your objective is to clear Prelims only in 2027 then you can start preparing for Prelims immediately by seeing Prelims 6-7 years Pyqs and making note of themes to study.

If your aim is to clear Both Prelims and Mains in 2027 then till Nov or December Practice Mains Answer writing as much as possible or Attempt 3 hours Tests and then you can start prelims from December end or January if you are beginner.

If you already cleared Prelims previously then you can start from February.

CSAT difficulty students must start practicing CSAT pyqs 1 hour daily from Nov or Dec so that you can easily work on weaknesses.

I did whatever was in my hands. Once again, there were many sleepless nights. I faced migraines, worked on an app but couldn’t succeed much, and then started working on building an institute.

Two years down the line, when I look at myself now, I feel very happy. I am guiding hundreds of students, creating employment for many people, creating content and study materials, building an IAS institute, and receiving a lot of appreciation from my fellow rankers and students.

Just tell yourself, Life is beyond our imagination. Good days will come. Keep moving forward without thinking too much about the outcomes. Stay disciplined, work hard, and enjoy every moment.
