Please prepare for civil services only if you are willing. Not for anyone else.
I know how much it hurts when you sit in the library with empty pockets and tears in eyes.
Everyday looks the same...But you get old.

Everyday I receive many messages from students expressing their confusion and concerns regarding their preparation. Many of them also request me to speak over the phone or meet in person. I truly appreciate your trust, but it may not be possible for me to individually talk to or meet everyone.

However, I would like to conduct a small orientation session for all those who have reached out to me regarding their preparation.

During the session, I will interact with you, listen to your concerns, and try to clear your doubts.

If you are interested in attending the Online Orientation Session through Zoom, please message the Office Number 93118 40789 and inform your interest.

Some Very Common Questions I Keep Getting from Aspirants

I would like to answer them briefly here.

Question 1: Can We Prepare for UPSC During College Days?

My Answer:
Yes, but UPSC is highly unpredictable. Therefore, it is better to complete your graduation properly and put yourself in a position to secure a decent job in your own field. This will reduce future uncertainties and allow you to prepare for the examination with greater peace of mind.

Question 2: Is It Necessary to Join Coaching or Guidance?

My Answer:
It is totally dependent on the individual. One should decide whether to join coaching or not after carefully analysing their own strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and overall awareness of the examination.

Question 3: Which Materials or Sources Should We Read?

My Answer:
Prelims and Mains have different demands.

The first thing to do is to thoroughly analyse the Previous Years' Questions (PYQs) and the UPSC syllabus. Read syllabus-oriented material, especially for Mains. NCERTs should be read based on their relevance to PYQs. Any source or material should be selected only after evaluating its usefulness through the lens of the syllabus and PYQs.

Question 4: Which Optional Subject Should We Choose?

My Answer:
First and foremost, choose a subject in which you have genuine interest. If you enjoy the subject, you will be willing to go the extra mile to master it.

Secondly, consider your academic background.

Thirdly, assess the availability of quality study materials and guidance.

Question 5: Should We Go to Hyderabad or Delhi for Preparation?

My Answer:
Again, it depends on the individual's awareness and understanding of the examination.

If you already have sufficient awareness, study materials, guidance, and the discipline to prepare independently, you can very well prepare from home.

If you want greater exposure, peer competition, and an immersive preparation environment, you may choose to move to cities like Hyderabad or Delhi.

Ultimately, it is your understanding of the examination, combined with consistent effort, that will help you clear its various stages. Otherwise, the dream of becoming a civil servant may remain a distant one.

It was a pleasure interacting with many new students today. I hope I was able to clarify many of your doubts.

A small concern: Some participants were unable to switch on their video during the session. Please understand that the purpose of these sessions is to interact with you personally and address your concerns. It is difficult to engage effectively with a blank screen. Therefore, kindly ensure that you join from a suitable location with a decent environment and are able to switch on both your audio and video whenever required.

Regarding the Mentorship Program:

The meaning of Group Mentorship is that the sessions are conducted in a group, but every student is treated and guided on an individual basis. In essence, it is similar to personal mentorship. There are no common targets, schedules, or one-size-fits-all plans. Guidance is tailored according to each student's preparation level, strengths, weaknesses, and requirements.

My thoughts and experiences

Unfortunately, people tend to forget the past, and some clever individuals take advantage of it.

What to read and How to read Newspaper? Very common problem of every aspirant.

Please see this article

why you should read this article?
First thing WPI , CPI and New PPI are part of Macro Economics which influence RBI policies and Overall Bank Interest rates. It also helps in Making Economic policies related to Procurement and Distribution of Goods.
Previously UPSC has asked questions on these type of Base year changes in GS 3 Mains

We know that Investment Models is one of the topics in the GS Paper III syllabus. There are different types of investment models, and two of the most popular and successful among them is the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and Built Operate Transfer Model (BOT). While writing about HAM,
or BOT it is important to use recent examples to substantiate your arguments. In this picture, you can see some examples illustrating the successful implementation of the Hybrid Annuity Model And Built Operate Transfer Models. Use these examples in your Mains answers to enrich your content and make your answers more relevant and contemporary.

Please Note Aspirants

Last time also I have mentioned
Whether It is Coaching, Mentorship, Test Series, Materials or Guidance..they supplement your efforts and help in providing some direction.

The Real efforts shall be done by Individuals and without your own understanding of the Exam and sincere efforts, nobody can do anything.

Understanding of PYQS, SYLLABUS, Topper Copies, Notes Making, and Regular Answer writing Practice...These play a major role.

Strategy for Those Who Appeared for Prelims 2026

Those who have appeared for Prelims 2026 can broadly be divided into three categories.

First Category – Those who are likely to clear Prelims

These students will naturally start preparing for Mains 2026 and should focus completely on Mains preparation,Notes Making, Answer writing and Test Series.

Second Category – Those who are failing in one of the papers or are missing Prelims by a few marks

I would suggest these students assume that they have cleared Prelims and prepare for Mains 2026 just like the first category. If those who clear Prelims write Mains in the examination centres, you should write the same papers at your home or in a library. It will really help you and make your next attempt much easier. You will also be in a much better position to perform well.

Third Category – Those who are scoring very less and have not prepared well

These students should adopt a long-term approach. Focus on completing the Mains syllabus, making notes, and practising answer writing by December or January. Without any hurry, divide the syllabus into a proper schedule and prepare accordingly.

I know how emotional it can be, especially when you are very close to clearing the exam but end up falling short. However, use that pain as a stepping stone for the next Mains.

Failure is very common in everyone's life, but how you perceive and respond to that failure depends on the individual. Those who learn from setbacks and continue moving forward often emerge stronger and eventually succeed.

My Thoughts and Experiences

The founders and spokespersons of the Cockroach Janata Party are nothing but self-proclaimed urban intellectuals who have little knowledge of Indian history or politics and show little interest in the real and ground-level problems that India is facing. It appears to be an attack by one political party on another, disguised as the voice of disheartened youth.

Beginners may not understand this
The real challenge in UPSC preparation is not reading Content. There is much content available everywhere including many telegram channels. But Identification of Topics, Selective content reading, Memorization of facts, Writing Answers with examples, these are the real challenges.
So don't run behind Content, relax and understand the Syllabus and Pyqs.. No one should focus on Prelims till January.
Only Mains now.
