The night was calm, lit by soft streetlights and a quiet breeze that made the empty streets feel peaceful. It started with a simple idea from Wendissle’s Ni-ki to get some fresh air, and soon he and Roselain’s Eunchae were walking side by side without any real destination. They didn’t talk much—just small comments and long stretches of comfortable silence that felt easy.
Halfway through, Roselain’s Eunchae stopped after noticing a small stray cat near a stack of boxes. She crouched down carefully, and after a moment, the cat stepped closer, letting her pet it. Wendissle’s Ni-ki watched before crouching beside her, gently patting the cat as well. They stayed there briefly until it slipped back into the shadows.
After that, they continued walking, their steps slower and closer than before. Wendissle’s Ni-ki walked Roselain’s Eunchae all the way to her place and waited until she went inside and the lights turned on, only then heading home himself.
Halfway through, Roselain’s Eunchae stopped after noticing a small stray cat near a stack of boxes. She crouched down carefully, and after a moment, the cat stepped closer, letting her pet it.
