Even the angels themselves would lose count on how long it’s been since i, Liesbon's Chaoyue, last hung out with this friend of mine, Hjërt's Yeonjun. So today, i found myself at his door, hoping the one who steps out is ready to spend his afternoon with me. Fret not, this is not a surprise visit. We’ve had something planned for today.

The moment i showed up, he said, "Where are we fishing, Mbak?" 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ "We'll find somewhere." i said. And we ended up by a quiet river. We had everything ready, some fish pellets and the whole setup—we went with spinning rods (we're both still beginners 😃). After casting our pellets, we just talking, sharing jokes and humming a bit here. Then suddenly, "Mbak, the float's moving!" My focus snapped right to it, THERE WAS A FISH! A pretty decent size, too. 😏

That first catch got us hyped, so... we kept going and managed to land a few more, enough to grill later with the family.

It's been a while since we last did something like this, it felt really nice.

There is something so incredibly relaxing about just sitting on the grass, feeling the breeze, and watching the world go by without feeling like you have to be anywhere else. Today, I, Scarvaine's Yihyun and Liesbon's Ruonan spent hours just lounging there, and the conversation went everywhere. We went from talking about which plants would actually surviving our lack of experiences to these really deepest, rambling life talks that only happen when we're both exhausted and distracted by pulling stubborn weeds. There were these little momentarily that made it so funny, like trying to keep the napkins from blowing away every five minutes or the absolutely chaotically when a brave squirrel tried to scout out our sandwiches. We definitely had a few "oops" moments, like realizing we forgot a bottle opener or accidentally sitting a bit too close to a hidden sprinkler, but we just laughed it off. We had those momentarily where me and Liesbon's Ruonan stop and realize how much we really needed this break. Coming back home is always the hardest part because the real world feels a bit too loud and busy after such a chill vibe. We definitely need to make this a regular thing because my soul needed this more than I realized.
