we had a simple lovely dinner tonight, just sitting together, eating good food, and talking about little things. the place was warm and quiet, and everything felt calm and nice. nothing special, but somehow it felt really meaningful!

19.00: after we had done dining, we remained at the table, cups of hot tea steaming between us. scalden’s juhoon told me an unforgettable anecdote about a mix-up with a client’s order that had us both laugh so hard that our sides hurt. when i told him about the novel i was reading, his eyes lit up and he promised to borrow it later. those simple moments when words flow freely brighten up everyday life.
