The night wrapped the city in soft lights as we wandered through unfamiliar streets together before the new year’s came. No rush, no plans just footsteps syncing as the year slowly came to an end. Roselain’s Minju walked with curiosity in her eyes, while Letheris’s Leean noticed the small details we almost missed.

Berthouven’s Minju and Greesacht’s Minju filled the air with laughter, making the cold feel less biting. Duisterg’s Minju stayed a little behind, quiet but grounding, like an anchor holding us together. Mistlesoir’s Minju brought warmth with every word she spoke, turning simple moments into memories. Sveic’s Minju and Caintje’s Minju walked side by side, their smiles reflecting the city lights.

An early year mishap occurred when we had the irrational brainwave to bet on being rogue racers. It sound weird, but this is our way of ‘giving our mad love’ to the new year. Because peers, we only live once, which is why we do street racing for the thrill.

Street racing isn’t simply about racing, instead, it functions like an auction where the loser must heed the winner. This insane race went down in a flash after Greesacht's Youngjae took the lead but was overtaken by Caldune's Youngjae, racing just for kicks but we take it to the streets, as we step on the gas next level until it burns rubber. At this point, it’s still the first light of the year, and we had already rounded up our Murphy’s Law. You know, the race isn’t over yet, there’s no victor yet, but unfortunately we were caught by the cops! But at the same time, we had our lucky cards since they only took us to our parents—wrong, it’s scarier getting scolded by them! (Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, ya?)

There are many things we didn’t expect today, but it’s exciting because we had a new experience at the beginning of the year—even if it’s a bit cheeky. Perhaps none of us won the race, but at least Caldune's Youngjae & Greesacht's Youngjae won the people involved in this case in early 2026, kidding!
