If an AMC (Asset Management Company) shuts down, investors do not lose ownership of their mutual fund units, as the AMC manages but does not own assets. If the scheme is transferred to another AMC, investors continue to hold their units under the new fund. If the scheme is closed, its assets are liquidated and proceeds are returned to investors.

Gold prices fall; list shows rates in cities across India on Ganesh Chaturthi

Gold prices edged lower on Monday amid Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. According to LiveMint, 24-carat gold in Mumbai stood at ₹1,52,990 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹1,40,241. Retail inflation rises to 4.82% in August as food prices climb

362 tonnes of Pak-origin dry dates seized in Maha under Op Deep Manifest

Directorate of Revenue Intelligence seized over 362 tonnes of Pakistan-origin dry dates in Maharashtra's Nashik under Operation Deep Manifest. Chandrayaan-1 may have helped detect Moon's oldest impact basin

Chandrayaan-1 data has helped scientists identify a previously hidden impact basin on the Moon that may be the oldest known. UPI payments up to ₹2,000 to remain free of charges: Govt

The government has barred banks from charging fees on UPI transactions up to ₹2,000 or payments made through RuPay debit cards. The government notification also prohibits direct or indirect charges on people making or receiving payments through these modes.
