More than 20,000 Pakistani nationals were deported from the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries between March 1 and July 13 this year. Saudi Arabia recorded the highest number of deportations at 15,500, while UAE sent back 3,803 Pakistanis. Oman deported 1,606 Pakistanis, followed by Bahrain with 521, Qatar with 429 and Kuwait with 97.
