Over $2 trillion has been wiped out as the South Korean market crashed for the second straight day on Wednesday after falling over 10% the day before. The benchmark KOSPI has seen a nearly 40% fall since hitting the 52-week high of 9,385.59 on June 19. Major semiconductor and AI companies are facing the worst of the sell-off.

Mercedes-Benz, its Delhi dealer ordered to pay ₹10 lakh to man for hiding car's purchase history

A Delhi Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ordered Mercedes-Benz India and its dealer, T&T Motors, to pay ₹5 lakh each to a man who purchased a sedan on December 12, 2018. The man later found out that the vehicle was first registered on July 25, 2018. The commission directed the parties to comply with the order within 60 days.

K'taka ordered to release 3,500 cusecs of Cauvery water daily to TN for 15 days

The Cauvery Water Management Authority (CWMA) on Thursday directed Karnataka to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. The officials instructed the state to release 3,500 cusecs of water per day for 15 days. The decision came after the CWMA rejected Karnataka's plea that it was unable to release water due to inadequate rainfall across the Cauvery basin.
