The Nepal government has approved the minting of a newly designed one-rupee coin, reports said. Nepal will drop the map showing Indian territories of Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani as its own from the new coin, reports added. Former Nepal PM KP Sharma Oli-led government had introduced the map in 2020 showing the three disputed territories as part of Nepal.

IMD issues orange alert for Mumbai for heavy rain
