115 children fall ill, 12 hospitalised after eating golgappas in Rajasthan's Kota

Around 115 children fell ill and 12 were hospitalised after reportedly consuming golgappa in a village in Rajasthan's Kota. The incident triggered panic as children complained of vomiting, diarrhoea and stomach pain. Several ambulances were rushed to the village, and a special medical camp has been established to treat children. Officials said the condition of most affected children is stable.

The CBI has revealed that a coaching centre owner from Maharashtra's Latur, Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar, paid ₹5 lakh to an NTA paper setter for chemistry questions of the NEET-UG paper 2026. The CBI stated that 111 out of 136 questions found in Motegaonkar's phone matched the questions in the NTA's master question sets for the NEET (UG) 2026 exam.

Court could revise Sheikh Hasina's death verdict or acquit her: B'desh PM's adviser

Bangladesh PM Tarique Rahman's adviser, Zahed Ur Rahman, welcomed ousted PM Sheikh Hasina’s plan to return to the country. Bangladesh's International Crimes Tribunal sentenced her to death over alleged “crimes against humanity” during the 2024 student protests. SIR schedule in Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab & Telangana extended

The Election Commission has extended the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Delhi, Karnataka, Punjab and Telangana by up to 12 days. A video shows a microdrone that hunts and kills mosquitoes mid-air. Built by French startup Tornyol, the 40-gram drone hunts using sonar. It fires ultrasonic pulses and listens to an insect’s wingbeats to identify a mosquito from a bee using tiny microphones and then rams straight into the target, killing the mosquito. The drone is fully autonomous and noiseless.

'Muslims not allowed' poster appears at Pune's Sinhagad Fort, probe on

Pune Rural Police registered a non-cognisable case against an unidentified person after a poster claiming that the Sinhagad Fort "belongs to Hindus" and "Muslims are not allowed to enter" appeared at its entrance. Iran denies reaching out to US for talks, says 'no plans for negotiations'
