US citizen arrested in India had come from Bali, stayed in Goa for 6 weeks

US citizen Jordan Brown, who was arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj, had come from Bali and stayed in Goa for six weeks, officials said. Brown claimed he had met a Nepali national in Goa and was travelling to UP's Sonauli to meet him before crossing into Nepal. QR codes made mandatory at shops on Kanwar Yatra routes in UP: Report

Uttar Pradesh authorities have made it mandatory for hotels and roadside eateries on Kanwar Yatra routes to display QR codes, ABP Live reported. Shop owners and food vendors will reportedly also be required to clearly display their names outside their establishments. Indian sailor missing after ship attack near Oman confirmed dead

Heramb Karmarkar, an Indian national who went missing after an attack on a commercial vessel near Oman's coast, was confirmed dead by his family on Wednesday. Oil prices rise for third straight day

Crude oil prices extended gains for a third straight session on Wednesday amid rising tensions in the Middle East. Ransomware group World Leaks has posted on dark web a huge cache of files related to India's largest nuclear plant. The leaks also includes purported blueprints of parts of Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant's facilities and supplier details.
