โ‚น1,500 cr found in bank accounts of 82-yr-old Bihar man & his son who went to withdraw pension

Kameshwar Mishra, an 82-year-old man in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, found a total of โ‚น1,500 crore (โ‚น759 crore each) in his and his son's bank accounts when they went to withdraw their pension. Mishra had gone to get his old-age pension while his son went to receive his disability pension. Mishra has now urged the bank and authorities to investigate the matter.

Which bedroll items are stolen the most by train passengers in India?

From January 2022 to May 2026, at least 1.27 crore bedroll pieces were stolen from trains' AC coaches in India, according to data received by Indian Express from 54 of 69 railway divisions. Towels (46.54 lakh) tops the list of stolen bedroll items. It's followed by bedsheets (41.13 lakh), pillow covers (23.59 lakh), blankets (12.95 lakh) and pillows (2.76 lakh).

US' drone fleet destroyed in Bahrain, says Iran

Iran rejects UN's 'military confrontation' remark, calls it 'self-defence'

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei rejected UN's characterisation of the renewed conflict in the Middle East as a "military confrontation". Heatwave claims 10,000 lives in Europe

European countries reported more than 10,000 excess deaths during the record-breaking heatwave that engulfed the west of the continent in late June, official data showed.
