The toss was originally scheduled to take place at 6:30 pm IST. The team arrived at the venue after 6.30 pm IST. India are trailing the five-match series 0-3.

Many killed in Vietnam boat tragedy worked with Lava Mobiles, were residents of Andhra

The boat that capsized near Vietnam's Phu Quoc, carrying 32 tourists, had many employees and distributors of Lava Mobiles onboard, according to IE. The report added that many of the deceased are believed to be from Andhra Pradesh. A total of three boats were carrying employees and distributors of Indian company. At least 15 people were killed in the incident.

Global oil demand may fall this year for first time since COVID pandemic: IEA

International Energy Agency (IEA) projected global oil demand to fall this year, marking the first decline in demand since the COVID-19 pandemic. It expects demand to dip by around one million barrels per day in 2026, driven by elevated crude prices and the Strait of Hormuz blockade. Asia accounted for largest share of the decline, with China leading the group.

Road surface of ₹194-cr overbridge in Greater Noida peels off 2 weeks after its opening

An eight-lane railway overbridge, opened just two weeks ago in Greater Noida, failed to withstand monsoon spell as a portion of road surface peeled off due to recent downpour. Built at around ₹194 crore, it aims to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Greater Noida West and Greater Noida. The 1.6-km-long overbridge was opened to public on June 24.

Satellite image shows 70% of India without rain clouds

Days after the southwest monsoon covered the entire country, satellite images on Saturday (July 11) showed nearly 70-80% of India with minimal cloud cover, with large parts receiving little to no rainfall. The Indian Embassy has released the names of 15 persons who lost their lives after a boat capsized in Vietnam. Ten of the deceased hail from Tamil Nadu, three from Andhra Pradesh and two from Kerala. 'Satluj' threatens state security, says Centre's panel; backs ban: Report
