12-yr-old dies after jogging at Bengaluru school, parents allege assault by teacher

A 12-year-old named Gurukiran, who studied at a Bengaluru residential school, collapsed and died during the third round of jogging. His parents claimed that the deceased's schoolmate told them he was slapped on the neck by a physical education teacher, who has been booked for murder. A relative said that the school's CCTV cameras were found damaged.

Nintendo to shut down Mario Kart Tour after 7 years this September

Nintendo announced that its mobile racing game Mario Kart Tour will be fully shut down on September 30 (IST). Launched in September 2019, it is one of Nintendo's few remaining mobile games still in operation. Nintendo ended content updates for the game in 2023. TCS adds over 9,200 employees in June quarter, its biggest in over a year

India's largest IT services company TCS added 9,279 employees on a net basis in the June quarter (or Q1 of FY2026-27), marking its biggest quarterly hiring in over a year. E85 fuel will be ₹20/litre cheaper than E20: Govt

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has asserted that the E85 (ethanol 85%, petrol 15%) fuel will be sold to consumers at about ₹20 per litre cheaper price than E20. Moreover, the fuel will be exclusively restricted to purpose-built Flex-Fuel Vehicles, he added. He also defended the ethanol blending programme, stating that India would be buying more crude without it.
