England defeated India by 125 runs in the third T20I to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. It's India's biggest defeat (by runs) in T20Is. England scored 201/7 and dismissed India for 76, their second-lowest total in T20I cricket. India's previous biggest T20I defeat came on February 6, 2019, when they lost to New Zealand by 80 runs.

US launches 'powerful' strikes on Iran after attacks on 3 ships in Hormuz

The United States launched a series of "powerful" military strikes against Iran on Wednesday after accusing Tehran of attacking three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Boeing 737 cargo plane vanishes off Pakistan coast

A Boeing 737 cargo plane operated by Pakistan's K2 Airways, carrying five crew members, went missing off the coast of Karachi on Tuesday night. The plane rapidly descended and lost contact with air traffic controllers at 9:21pm (local time). Radar data showed the aircraft falling quickly and suddenly changing direction before contact was lost.

US charges Lawrence Bishnoi & Goldy Brar over Hardeep Singh Nijjar's killing

US has charged Lawrence Bishnoi and his aide, Satinderjeet Singh alias Goldy Brar, for allegedly orchestrating the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. According to a federal indictment, Bishnoi ordered the killing of Nijjar on June 18, 2023. Notably, Bishnoi is already in jail in India, while his aide Goldy Brar is still at large.

Oil prices jump after US launches 'powerful' strikes on Iran

Crude oil prices climbed nearly 2% on Wednesday after the US launched "powerful" military strikes on Iran and reimposed crude sales sanctions.
