India built networks with 35 nations in 24 months for rare earths

In the last 24 months, India signed critical minerals partnerships with 24 countries and is in talks with 11 more, the government said. The engagements span North America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia. "India is now diversifying sources, securing access to lithium, cobalt, copper, rare earths and other critical minerals," BJP's Amit Malviya said.

China's Tianwen-2 captures 1st-ever close-up pic of Earth's 'minimoon'

China's Tianwen-2 spacecraft has captured the first-ever close-up image of Earth's rare "minimoon", asteroid Kamoʻoalewa (2016 HO3). It photographed the quasi-satellite from about 20 km away after travelling nearly one billion km through space. Despite its nickname, Kamoʻoalewa is not Earth's second moon but a quasi-satellite that orbits the Sun while remaining gravitationally linked to Earth.

Maharashtra woman brings snake to hospital

A 60 year old woman from Maharashtra's Nanded district shocked hospital staff after bringing the live snake that bit her. Sushila Waghmare caught the snake and carried it to the hospital after the incident while working in a field. Doctors secured the snake before treating her. She recovered as the snake was found to be non-venomous.

Google to now count all Android backup data towards storage limit

Google has updated its policy to count all Android backup data, including device settings, call history, and SMS messages, towards the account storage limit.
