When will monsoon hit Delhi-NCR?

The southwest monsoon is likely to reach Delhi-NCR between June 25 and June 30, according to IMD. The monsoon made its onset over Kerala on June 4, a few days later than usual, and is now moving across southern and coastal regions. Last year, it reached Delhi on June 29, which was slightly later than normal date of June 27.

Masturbation among birds is natural: Study

A study has found that masturbation among birds was more common in wild than in captivity, with researchers concluding it is part of a bird's natural behaviour. Researchers historically tended to assume that birds either didn't masturbate or did so only under stress of captivity. The activity was sometimes accompanied by wing flapping and vocalisations not typically heard from birds.

Petrol mixed with 85% ethanol launched in Delhi, to be cheaper by ₹20/litre

Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched E85 fuel at a petrol pump in Delhi. The fuel contains 15% petrol and 85% ethanol and may help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 61%. It'll cost ₹82.12/litre in Delhi, ₹20 cheaper than petrol, which costs ₹102.12/litre, with the pricing aimed at compensating users for loss in the fuel's calorific value.

R Praggnanandhaa creates history, becomes first Indian to win Norway Chess title

CBSE gives Class 12 students 24 more hours to apply for re-evaluation amid cyber attacks

The cybersecurity certificates submitted by Coempt Edu Teck to CBSE covered a different client's deployment of same software tested in pre-production staging environment, as per a report. US' Nasdaq plunges 4%, records worst trading day since April 2025

Handy’s killer called 911 after stabbing him, said 'I killed the man of sin'
