Dog-sized scorpions crawled across Britain 415 mn years ago: Study

Giant scorpions as large as modern Labrador dogs once roamed what is now Britain, according to a new study of ancient fossils. Researchers, analysing 415-million-year-old remains, found evidence of the scorpion species, named Praearcturus gigas, that could grow over a metre in length. The creatures lived when much of Britain was covered by shallow seas and coastal environments.

Vanguard slashes Ola valuation to $70 mn, down 99% from 2021 peak

US asset manager Vanguard has slashed Ola Consumer's valuation to about $70.3 million, according to its latest filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
