Sikh man gets life term for stabbing teen in UK over racial abuse claims

Vickrum Digwa, a British Sikh man, was sentenced to life imprisonment and must serve at least 21 years after being convicted of killing a teenager named Henry Nowak using a 21 cm blade in UK. "You've brought shame upon your family and your religion," the judge said to Digwa. Digwa falsely claimed he was racially abused and acted in self-defence.

Coempt that developed CBSE's OSM portal had got 10/10 marks for scanning sheets: Report

Coempt EduTeck, which developed the CBSE's On-Screen Marking (OSM) portal, had received 10/10 marks for its "experience in scanning and distribution of subjective answer booklets for digital evaluation" during the tender process, Hindustan Times reported.
The other bidder, TCS, had received zero out of ten. Students have pointed out several issues in the OSM portal related to digital scanning.

Judges handle 800 cases daily, expected to become super robots: Allahabad HC

The Allahabad High Court criticised state authorities for failing to comply with a 2022 court order directing them to pay the petitioner's salary. World's 1st fully solar-powered rail corridor worth ₹60,000 cr proposed in Kerala

Kerala High-Speed Railway project, worth ₹60,000 crore between Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur, proposed by 'Metro Man' E Sreedharan, will be world's first fully solar-powered rail corridor.
