New WiFi tracking method can identify people without a smartphone: Study

Researchers at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology have developed a method that uses ordinary WiFi devices to identify people even when they are not carrying smartphones. The method analyses radio signals generated as WiFi devices communicate with each other in a person's surroundings. Researchers said this creates patterns comparable to camera images, which can be used to identify individuals.

Rare blueberry species rediscovered in Arunachal Pradesh after 188 yrs

A rare and endangered blueberry species, 'Vaccinium piliferum', has been rediscovered in the forests of Arunachal Pradesh after nearly 188 years. "First documented in 1836 and believed lost to science for generations, the rediscovery of this rare species is a major scientific achievement," Arunachal Pradesh Deputy CM Chowna Mein posted on X. The Railway Board approved the introduction of India's first-ever hydrogen-powered train in Haryana, The Indian Express reported citing a letter from the board. The letter said it approved "introduction of 10-car formation Hydrogen Fuel cell based...coaches with a maximum speed of 75 kmph". Delhi raises income limit for EWS ration eligibility to ₹2.5 lakh

The income limit for EWS ration eligibility in Delhi has increased from ₹1.2 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said on Tuesday. "Residents...with an annual income of up to ₹2.5 lakh will become eligible for new ration cards," he added.
