The Supreme Court quashed domestic violence and dowry demand proceedings against in-laws of a woman, stating that generalised allegations lacking specific overt acts cannot justify continuation of prosecution against husband's relatives. Pakistan rejects Trump's invite to normalise relations with Israel

How have petrol prices changed in India since independence?

Petrol cost ₹0.25/litre in 1947, when India gained independence, but jumped to ₹0.90/litre by 1970, and to ₹4.20/litre in 1990, just before the Indian economy was liberalised. Iran drives US fighter jet out, shoots down MQ-9 drone inside its airspace

Iran's IRGC claimed that it shot down a US MQ-9 drone on Tuesday for violating its airspace.
