Indians spent ₹10,431 cr on overseas travel in March 2026: RBI data

According to data given by RBI, Indians spent ₹10,431 crore on overseas travel, including holiday trips, in March 2026. This was down from ₹12,441 crore in February and ₹15,790.6 crore in January 2026. Holiday trips and international credit card settlements alone accounted for over ₹5,900 crore in March. The spending came despite the ongoing Middle East conflict, which increased airfares.

LNG tanker exits Strait of Hormuz for India for 1st time since US-Iran war began: Report

An LNG tanker carrying fuel for India has crossed the Strait of Hormuz, marking the country’s first such shipment from the Persian Gulf since the US-Iran war began, Bloomberg reported.
