Maruti Suzuki announces increase in car prices

India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India announced it will hike the prices of its passenger vehicles (PVs) by up to ₹30,000 from June. The carmaker cited pressure from rising input costs and inflation, adding, "The exact quantum of change will vary from model to model." The carmaker had previously raised car prices in April 2025 by up to ₹62,000.

Apple blocked over ₹21,000 cr fraudulent transactions in 2025 from App Store

Apple on Thursday said it stopped more than $2.2 billion (over ₹21,000 crore) in potentially fraudulent transactions on the App Store in 2025. The company also terminated around 193,000 malicious developer accounts and rejected more than 138,000 enrolment attempts over fraud concerns. App Store's fraud detection systems have prevented over $11.2 billion in fraudulent transactions over six years.
