5, including 2 teen suspects, dead after shooting at US mosque

Three men, including a security guard, were killed after two teenage gunmen opened fire outside Islamic Center of San Diego in US' California on Monday in an attack police are investigating as a hate crime. UPSC to release provisional answer key after Prelims; objection window open till May 31

Govt tightens citizenship rules for applicants holding Pak/B’desh/Afghan passports

The Centre has notified amended Citizenship Rules 2009, making it mandatory for applicants seeking Indian citizenship to declare whether they hold a valid or expired passport issued by Pakistan, Afghanistan or Bangladesh. Applicants must also agree to surrender those passports within 15 days after Indian citizenship approval. MHA notified the Citizenship (Amendment) Rules 2026 on May 18.

K'taka bans tourists within 100 ft of elephants after woman dies in clash
