Bengaluru suburban rail project to get 153 AC coaches from ICF

The Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project has received a major boost with the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) set to supply 153 air-conditioned metro-type coaches under a ₹1,513 crore deal. The project by K-RIDE aims to reduce Bengaluru’s traffic congestion and improve connectivity across key corridors. The coaches will be delivered in phases over 18 months.
