Anthropic voids sale of its shares without board approval

Anthropic has voided all sales and transfers of its shares that have not been approved by the firm's board. The company also said that it does not permit special purpose vehicles (SPVs) to acquire its stock and that transfers of shares to an SPV are void. Anthropic has cautioned investors against funds that offer indirect access to its stock.

The Supreme Court said caste-based abuses made inside private residence and outside public view wouldn't attract offences under SC/ST Act. It stated abuse taking place "within public view" is an essential ingredient for offences under the Act. Coal India subsidiary CIL Solar PV dissolved by MCA

Coal India informed exchanges that CIL Solar PV Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, has been struck off by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and consequently stands dissolved. FIIs increased their stake in Coal India to 8.38% in March 2026. The stock has gained 20.39% in six months and offers 5.69% dividend yield.

Blast in Pakistan, 7 people killed

At least seven people were killed, and 18 others were injured in a blast at a market in Lakki Marwat in northwest Pakistan, a police official said. Among the dead are a senior ISI officer and two traffic police officers. Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion, which reportedly struck in one of the busiest parts of the market.

15-year-old boy dies after consuming watermelon in Chhattisgarh

A 15-year-old boy died and three other children were hospitalised after allegedly consuming watermelon in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district. The deceased started vomiting and later had diarrhoea and breathing difficulties after consuming cut watermelon kept at the house, district hospital civil surgeon said. Kids may have suffered food poisoning after eating contaminated watermelon, he added.
