Sports Ministry issues show-cause notice to boxing federation over several violations

Israel allows death penalty for Hamas-led October 7 attackers

Israel has passed a new law to impose death penalty and conduct public trials for those involved in the Hamas-led attacks and mass hostage-taking in Israel on October 7, 2023. The legislation was passed by 93 votes to 0 in Israel's parliament. Hamas-led fighters killed over 1,200 people in Israel and 251 people were kidnapped in the attack.

US sanctions 12 entities over Iranian oil trade with China ahead of Trump-Xi meet

The United States on Monday announced fresh sanctions against three individuals and nine companies across Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, accused of helping Iran send oil to China. Foreign investors' exit from India hits highest level since 1993

Foreign investors have pulled out ₹1.99 lakh crore from India so far in 2026, marking the highest outflow since Indian markets were opened to overseas investments in 1993, Financial Times reported. Total foreign holdings in Indian stocks have now fallen to a 14-year low of 14.7%, according to JM Financial. Foreign investors led ₹1.66 lakh crore outflow in 2025.
