K Kavitha launches new party 'TRS' 7 months after quitting BRS

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana CM and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, launched her own political party Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS) on Saturday. Kavitha had resigned from BRS after differences with party leadership seven months ago. Notably, Chandrasekhar Rao had launched Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), before renaming party to Bharat Rashtra Samithi.

Pak national, living in India for 4 decades, held with fake IDs in UP

Wasid Irshad, a Pakistani national, has been arrested in UP's Bulandshahr for staying illegally in India and forging documents, including Aadhaar card, driving licence and passport. He came to India in 1981 as a child with his mother who was granted a long-term visa but died in 2012. Irshad had applied for a long-term visa, which is still under consideration.

Airlines raise ticket prices, cut thousands of flights as jet fuel prices soar

Airlines across the world are responding differently to a record rise in jet fuel prices amid the Middle East war. Months after surviving a knife attack inside his home office in Ghaziabad, ex-Muslim YouTuber Saleem Wastik has been arrested by Delhi Police in a 31-year-old kidnapping and murder case.
