Google unveiled the eighth generation of its custom Tensor Processor Units (TPUs) at Google Cloud Next event. The two chips, TPU 8t and TPU 8i, will power Google's custom-built supercomputers and enable autonomous AI agents to reason, plan and execute multi-step workflows.
