Javelin coach Naval Singh sacked after harassment allegations by Neeraj Chopra, Sumit Antil

The Paralympic Committee of India sacked Dronacharya awardee coach Naval Singh after harassment allegations made by two-time Paralympic champion Sumit Antil and two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra. It terminated Naval’s services following emergency meeting convened by president Devendra Jhajharia. "He mentally harassed us and abused our...families. He seems mentally unstable," Antil had said.

2 Indians shot dead in Italy while leaving gurdwara

Two Indian men were shot dead while leaving a gurdwara in Italy, local media reported. Supreme Court issues pan-India highway safety norms

The Supreme Court has issued pan-India guidelines for highway safety, including a direction that heavy and commercial vehicles must not stop on highways, except at designated areas. US President Donald Trump said American forces have taken custody of an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel, Touska, that allegedly attempted to breach US naval blockade in Gulf of Oman. US releases video of Iranian ship seizure

After taking custody of the Iranian-flagged cargo ship, US CENTCOM has released a video showing the ship's seizure. The video showed the guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance firing at the vessel.
