Chinnaswamy canteen worker held for illegally selling IPL tickets

In a major crackdown on IPL ticket black marketing, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) has arrested a canteen employee at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium for allegedly selling over 180 tickets at inflated prices. The accused, identified as Chandrashekhar, was reportedly selling each ticket for ₹15,000 to ₹19,000, police said. He was working at the Sri Lakshmi Canteen inside the stadium.

India's GDP in 2026 will be $4.15 trillion, meaning India will drop two positions to rank sixth among world's largest economies, IMF data shows. This happened after India updated its GDP estimates with a new base in February-end, which showed the previous GDP series was overestimating India's GDP. A helicopter carrying eight people crashed in Indonesia’s West Kalimantan province, leaving no survivors, rescuers said on Thursday.
