Andhra Pradesh Inter 1st and 2nd year results declared

The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has declared Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) 2026 results for 1st (Class 11) and 2nd (Class 12) on Wednesday. The examinations were conducted between February 23 and March 24, with over 10.57 lakh students appearing this year. Overall pass percentages of first and second years were recorded at 77% and 81% respectively.

World chess champion Gukesh D to defend title against Javokhir Sindarov

World chess champion Gukesh D will defend his title against Javokhir Sindarov later this year. Uzbek chess grandmaster Sindarov won the FIDE Candidates Tournament to qualify for the World Chess Championship. The title match between 19-year-old Gukesh and 20-year-old Sindarov will be the youngest-ever World Championship match in history. Gukesh had become the youngest world chess champion in 2024.

Investors earn ₹9 lakh crore as Sensex jumps over 1,400 points intraday
