India demonstrates 1,000-km quantum communication network

India has demonstrated a 1,000-km quantum communication network under the National Quantum Mission, one of the longest such deployments globally. India achieved it in under two years of the mission's October 2024 launch. Built using indigenous technology by Bengaluru-based startup QNu Labs, the network uses Quantum Key Distribution to make interception immediately detectable.

Maharashtra makes Marathi mandatory for all auto, taxi drivers
