Pakistan bans Israeli media from covering US-Iran peace talks

Pakistan has banned Israeli media from covering the peace talks between US and Iran in Islamabad, according to reports. Previously, Israel called Pakistan a terrorist state and accused it of not being neutral arbiter for peace after Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif shared a post calling Israel "cancerous" and "evil". Asif, however, deleted the post later.

188-year-old tree shows signs of life after transplant in Maha

Nearly four months after its relocation, a 188-year-old banyan tree transplanted from Pachpaoli to Gorewada Biodiversity Park in Maharashtra's Nagpur is showing strong signs of life, with fresh foliage. The 42-foot-tall tree was shifted in November 2025 after a PIL intervened to prevent its felling for a proposed NMC e-library project. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari called it a "historic feat".

How much money will Delhi govt give to buy electric 2-wheelers under EV draft policy?

Under its EV draft policy, the Delhi government has proposed an incentive of β‚Ή10,000/kWh (maximum β‚Ή30,000) to buy electric two-wheelers under β‚Ή2.25 lakh in the first year after the policy's notification. Buyers will get β‚Ή6,600/kWh (max β‚Ή20,000) for buying electric two-wheelers in the second year and β‚Ή3,300/kWh (max β‚Ή10,000) in the third year. Incentives have also been announced for e-auto.

French govt to replace Windows with Linux

US agrees to unfreeze $6 billion of Iranian funds: Report

US has agreed to release Iranian frozen assets held in Qatar and other foreign banks, Reuters reported quoting a senior Iranian source.
