How much cargo did India's major ports handle in FY26?

India's major ports handled 915.17 million tonnes (MT) of cargo in FY26, registering 7.06% year-on-year growth. Gujarat's Deendayal Port Authority led cargo handling at 160.11 MT, followed by Odisha's Paradip Port Authority (156.45 MT) and Maharashtra's Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (102.01 MT). Visakhapatnam Port (91.2 MT) and Mumbai Port (75.1 MT) also registered strong performance.

Punjab yet to pay March salaries to staff; raises β‚Ή1,500 cr loan

Amazon to end support for older Kindle devices

Amazon will end support for Kindle devices released in 2012 or earlier. Starting May 20, 2026, users will only be able to read books already downloaded on these devices.
