Kerala records 75.01% voter turnout till 5 pm, Assam sees 84.42%

Assam recorded a voter turnout of 84.42% till 5 pm after polling began at 7 am on Thursday across all 126 seats. Kerala and Puducherry recorded voter turnouts of 75.01% and 86.92%, respectively, till 5 pm. Ghaziabad has emerged as India's most polluted city in FY26, according to a report by the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA). Ghaziabad recorded an annual average PM10 concentration of 215 µg/m³ (micrograms per cubic metre), which is over three times the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
