How did Iran shoot down 2 US fighter jets?

Iran likely shot down the US F15-E and A-10 Warthog attack aircraft using infrared-guided Majid surface-to-air missile system, NDTV reported. The footage released by Iran indicated the missiles likely used Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors that track heat signatures from aircraft engines rather than traditional radar. Once locked, the missile follows the heat signal and hits the aircraft.

UAE pulls out of €3.5 billion funding for Rafale after France refuses to transfer tech

UAE has walked out of a proposal with France to contribute €3.5 billion to develop the Rafale F5. According to reports, UAE wanted technology transfer so that it could mount its own weapons on Rafale and make changes to its radar and opto-electronics. However, the deal fell through in December 2025 after France denied UAE's request.

Whoop, a $10-billion health tracking app with 800+ employees, sued its rival Bevel, an app being run by 20 employees, for alleged copyright infringement. Bevel CEO Grey Nguyen claimed the lawsuit was filed months after a senior Whoop executive reached out to Bevel for a collaboration, which Bevel refused. Delhi to allow only BS-VI, EV goods vehicles from November 1

The entry of commercial goods vehicles into Delhi, except those that are CNG-powered, electric or compliant with BS-VI norms, will be restricted from November 1 as part of 'Air Pollution Mitigation Action Plan 2026'. Senior Hockey India official accused of sexual harassment: Report

Hockey India has received a detailed complaint alleging serious misconduct, including sexual harassment and abuse of authority, against a senior official, TOI reported. An email of the complaint from an anonymous sender was also sent to the Sports Authority of India, it added. US-Israel conduct airstrike near Iranian nuclear power plant

Tata Steel on Saturday said it has received a ₹1,755 crore demand notice from Jharkhand's District Mining Office in Ramgarh.
