Amid the West Asia conflict, Indian Army is planning to place a huge order for an 800-km range variant of BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, an ANI report said. Currently, the army operates cruise missiles that can hit a target at 450 km plus. BrahMos supersonic cruise missile had served as the main offensive weapon during Operation Sindoor in May 2025.

Lloyds Bank's IT glitch allows users to see others' transactions

Lloyds Banking Group exposed personal data of up to 4,47,936 customers during an IT glitch earlier this month, which allowed users to see other customers' transactions, including account details and national insurance numbers, Britain's Treasury Committee said. The bank paid £139,000 in compensation to 3,625 customers for ​distress and inconvenience. Meanwhile, no financial loss was reported.

India sends 5,000 tonnes of diesel to Bangladesh after sending 38,000 tonnes of fuel to Sri Lanka

India has supplied 5,000 tonnes of diesel to Bangladesh amid energy crisis due to the Middle East war. "An additional 5,000 tonnes of diesel have arrived...from India. With this, Bangladesh has now received a total of 15,000 tonnes of diesel from India in recent times," a Bangladeshi official said. Earlier, India sent 38,000 tonnes of fuel to Sri Lanka.
