15,000 LPG cylinders seized in raids across India

Amid action against black marketing and hoarding of LPG cylinders, the government said that over 12,000 raids were conducted across the country and more than 15,000 cylinders were seized. In Delhi, 600 cylinders were seized on Monday while 1,800 cylinders were seized in MP in several raids over the days. Meanwhile, oil marketing companies carried out around 2,500 surprise inspections.

Salman's father Salim Khan discharged from hospital after a month: Report

Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, was discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday after spending nearly a month in the hospital, according to The Indian Express. Scientists find molten 'liquid planet' that smells like rotten eggs

Scientists have identified a new class of exoplanets that remain permanently molten, expanding current understanding of planetary types. The discovery, based on L 98-59 d observed via the James Webb Space Telescope, revealed planets that appeared to be covered entirely in magma with temperatures reaching nearly 1,900°C. Its atmosphere contains hydrogen sulfide gases, giving a rotten egg smell.

Rare hexagonal diamond that is harder than natural diamond created

Researchers from China's Henan Key Laboratory of Diamond Materials and Devices have claimed they have created the first pure samples of hexagonal diamond, a rare form previously found only in meteorites. The lab-made material shows slightly higher hardness and better heat resistance than conventional diamond, according to the researchers. Unlike cubic diamond, it has a hexagonal atomic structure.

F1 could lose up to ₹18,000 cr as Bahrain, Saudi races get cancelled: Report

Amid LPG supply concerns, the government on Tuesday advised people to use LPG cylinder alternatives like induction cooktop or PNG whenever possible.
