Police have launched a probe into the theft of jewellery worth β‚Ή2 crore from Thiruvananthapuram's Kowdiar Palace, the residence of the erstwhile Travancore royal family. The theft reportedly occurred in October last year, but the family approached the police on March 13, 2026. Initially, the family had believed that the jewellery was merely misplaced within the premises, reports added.

4 Bihar Opp'n MLAs don't turn up to vote for Rajya Sabha polls, help NDA win

At least three Congress MLAs and one RJD MLA didn't turn up to vote for Rajya Sabha polls in the Bihar Assembly on Tuesday, indirectly helping the BJP-led NDA win all five seats. Allahabad HC judge, criticised by SC, gave bail in 508 dowry death cases: Report

Allahabad High Court judge, Justice Pankaj Bhatia, who the Supreme Court criticised in February for granting bail in one dowry death case, had ordered bail in 508 of 510 similar cases heard by him between October and December 2025, IE reported. 2nd LPG tanker Nanda Devi arrives in India after crossing Strait of Hormuz

A day after LPG tanker Shivalik arrived in India, LPG tanker Nanda Devi arrived at Gujarat's Vadinar Port carrying nearly 47,000 metric tonnes of LPG. Bank manager shot dead by security guard post dispute in Ghaziabad

A Punjab and Sind Bank (PSB) manager was allegedly shot dead by security guard following verbal altercation in Ghaziabad. Gas agency hoards LPG cylinders in Delhi godown, 610 seized

Delhi Police busted an illegal LPG hoarding and black marketing operation in Delhi's Mundka and seized 610 cylinders from a godown linked to Guruji Indane Gas Service.
